Our people are what make our businesses successful. It is for this reason that we have a dedicated Personnel Department whose responsibility it is to ensure that we’re delivering on our mission statement of ‘Customer Satisfaction through Staff Satisfaction’.
No two days are ever the same in our Personnel Department and their importance to the success of the business cannot be overstated. This is why our Personnel Manager is a permanent member of the Company’s Management Board, ensuring that our people are always at the heart of any business decision that we make.
A major area of focus for our Personnel Team is the training and development of our people. As our most important ‘asset’, we want to make sure that everyone in our business has the opportunity to maximise his or her potential, and ultimately lead a very satisfying and fulfilling career with Dick Lovett.
Other areas our Personnel Team is responsible for include:
- Recruitment for all of our dealerships
- Running our P.R.I.D.E induction course for all new employees (Personal Role In Delivering Excellence)
- Managing the company payroll
- Preparing contracts
- Personal support to employees
- Managing the staff benefits packages
- Organising and reporting on our staff satisfaction surveys
