Vacancy description

Our Aston Martin Dealership is looking for a personable and honest MOT Tester to join our experienced team who can diagnose and repair automotive issues, as well as perform maintenance tasks on our customer’s vehicles.

The ideal candidate must be capable of completing work cleanly and to a high standard, whilst adhering to procedures and processes at all times. You must be a team player with excellent attention to detail, confident and professional in your approach as well as someone who is efficient and motivated to always achieve a first time fix.

Duties in this role will include carrying out all required MOTs and ensure the MOT site meets all DVSA requirements in line with guidelines and amended practices, as well as performing routine vehicle inspections and pre sales checks in line with the manufacturer’s requirements. This role will also include assisting in the development of our apprentices and taking part in dealership events. 

We welcome all applications with varying skill levels, however request that you are qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or GNVQ equivalent, hold a valid Class 4 MOT Licence and have at least 5 years’ experience.

So if you have the experience combined with good communication skills, commitment and exceptional customer service, you could be just the person we are looking for.
