Vacancy description

We are looking for a competent and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team who can diagnose and repair a range of automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks for our customer’s vehicles.

Duties in this role will include performing routine maintenance tasks, including diagnosis of mechanical and electrical automotive issues, as well as conducting vehicle preparation and pre-sale inspections following the strict guidelines of the business and Manufacturer’s program. This role will also include taking part in dealership events and assisting in the development of our apprentices.

The ideal candidate must be capable of completing work cleanly and to a very high standard, whilst adhering to procedures and processes at all times. You must be a team player with excellent attention to detail, professional in your approach, and efficient and motivated to always achieve a first time fix. You must also be comfortable liaising with the service team and customers directly, delivering exceptional customer service.

We welcome all applications with varying skill levels, however request that you are qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or GNVQ equivalent and have at least 5 years’ experience.
