Vacancy description

Our Aston Martin dealership in Bristol is looking for a competent and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their Service team who can diagnose and repair a range of automotive issues.

Duties in this role will include performing routine maintenance tasks, including diagnosis of mechanical and electrical automotive issues, as well as conducting vehicle preparation and pre-sale inspections following the strict guidelines of the business and Manufacturer’s program. This role will also include assisting in the development of our apprentices.

The ideal candidate must be capable of completing work cleanly and to a very high standard, whilst adhering to procedures and processes at all times. You must be a team player with excellent attention to detail, professional in your approach, and efficient and motivated to always achieve a first time fix. You must also be comfortable liaising with the Service team and customers directly, delivering exceptional customer service.

We welcome all applications with varying skill levels, however request that you are qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or GNVQ equivalent and have at least 5 years’ experience.

So if you have the experience combined with good communication skills, commitment and honesty, you could be just the person we are looking for.

An early application is advised as we reserve the right to withdraw this application at any time.

No agencies please unless otherwise arranged.

We’re fortunate to receive a large response to our adverts every week. You’ll never receive an automated response from us – it’s something that we find too impersonal – and whilst we try to respond to every email, the amount of applications we receive sometimes makes that difficult. Therefore, if you don’t hear from us within 14 days, this means that unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please be assured we read every single one and if we think you might be relevant for a future role, we’ll keep your details on our file, and will arrange to contact you should a suitable vacancy arise in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any feedback. Thank you.
