Vacancy description

As a  Motorcycle Parts Manager, you role will be able to organise the day to day operation of the Parts Department, achieving monthly and annual targets and in the delivery of exceptional customer service, you will be assisting in the supply of Parts to Trade, Retail and Workshop. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor, Parts Supervisor, or Parts Manager within a car/Motorcycle dealership

The role is very much hands on and front line focussed, based on the front counter alongside the Service Advisor and Service Manager, this role is very much retail parts focussed Role includes managing workshop parts requirements, trade customer orders and retail parts enquiries in our Showroom store supplying clothing, Helmets and biker equipment. In addition to supporting the service reception team when busy.


Job Responsibilities;


  • To lead, encourage and support the service manager with members of the team effectively and develop individual skills to enable them to achieve departmental objectives
    • Ensure all customers are dealt with efficiently and that all orders/Returns are processed on same day
    • Ensure quality checks are completed to measure levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Meet budget objectives including customer service levels, inventory, purchase targets and profitability

    As an experienced Parts Manger you will have;

  • Motor Trade Parts experience in a similar role 
    • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic
    • A natural sales ability in order to maximise profitability
    • Ability to handle objections
    • A stable & proven career history
    • Positive management skills with the ability to support Service Manager to motivate and mentor others as well as delegate work effectively
    • Strong interpersonal skills – must be confident and articulate with a professional attitude
    • Strong knowledge of the motor industry and parts and has an understanding of automotive systems and functionalities
    • Effective organisational skills as demonstrated by achievement of deadlines, priority setting, maintenance of accurate administrative records
