Vacancy description

We are delighted to announce that our Porsche Centre in Tewkesbury is looking for an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our already talented team in the workshop.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of this Porsche Apprenticeship program, someone who not only is passionate about cars and proud to work for the Porsche brand, but above all keen to learn and develop their knowledge to find out ‘how things work’.  Our company ethos is all about going the extra mile and providing exceptional customer service, therefore we want someone who will always put the customer first.

We aren’t looking for the finished article; we’re looking to give someone the best start in their career….

If the above reflects you, then this is a fantastic opportunity to work within one of our superb Workshops and train for an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

As part of your NVQ Level 3, you will also be required to attend College on a regular basis.

As well as employment in our Group, you will be given the training and support you need to develop both personally and professionally.

Using a combination of classroom-based training, e-learning, practical training and application of learning, you will be guided by your trainers and personal mentor along to the road to success.

This apprenticeship combines off-the-job training with on-the-job learning and you will be supported every step of the way.

Key personal skills to demonstrate include:

  • A willingness to learn
  • Teamwork
  • Engineering interest
  • Quality focus
  • Personal responsibility and resilience

To be considered, you must have GCSE Grades of 9 to 4 in Maths, English, Science and one other subject.

For further information or an application form, please contact Jen Broad, Personnel Advisor by email: jennifer.broad@dicklovett.co.uk

An early application is advised.

We’re fortunate to receive a large response to our adverts every week. You’ll never receive an automated response from us – it’s something that we find too impersonal – and whilst we try to respond to every email, the amount of applications we receive sometimes makes that difficult. Therefore, if you don’t hear from us within 14 days, this means that unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please be assured we read every single one and if we think you might be relevant for a future role, we’ll keep your details on our file, and will arrange to contact you should a suitable vacancy arise in the future. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any feedback. Thank you.
